You Always Turn My Head Around

$155.00

This woodburning piece is inspired by the song “Make Up Your Mind” by Florence + The Machine.

I’ve had a long-running fascination with Florence’s ability to poetically capture a fraught situation in her song-writing. Her narrator is both executioner and doomed prisoner, and you’re never sure who has the upper hand. And apparently, neither are her characters, since they are both literally fighting blindfolded.

Burned onto live-edge basswood measuring 11 inches by 13 inches. Hanging wire is affixed to the back. Sealed with UV-resistant acrylic to prevent moisture damage and fading. Hanging away from direct sunlight is recommended.
