“Little Starlings” began as an original mixed-media artwork, a woodburning enhanced with shimmer watercolor inspired by the song “Starlings” by Dizzy.
On its enthusiastic reception, I printed a limited run of reproductions on high quality watercolor paper and embellished each print with the same shimmer watercolor used on the original in order to accurately capture the iridescence of starling feathers.
I’ve selected one of those reproductions to come matted, framed, and ready to hang.
The frame measures 8x10 inches and is matted down to 5x7 inches. The print is numbered and signed.
